The Bommel collection was inspired by my first series of stump lamps by experimenting with found stumps and turning them on a wood and metal lathe. Modular in nature, they can hang from the ceiling or sit inside the Bommel concrete base, which was made and designed solely for the Bommel pendant, although a by-product of its function is the base can be used on its own as a pencil / business card holder, available in white, grey & mixed.
Materials:
Bottle Lamp: birch wood, cloth-covered cord with thumb switch, LED warm-white bulb, hook and cord anchor.
Concrete base: Glass-fibre reinforced concrete. Available in white, charcoal and mixed (charcoal/white)
Dimensions:
Bottle Lampp: 3.75" diameter, 8" long
Concrete base: 4" diameter, 3.5" height
Full height with pendant and base: 10 - 10.5"
Cloth cord available in: Black, white, grey, salmon, turquoise, yellow.
Note: Because each model is handmade, they all vary slightly in appearance.
